The pen itself looks and writes well, but it has a fatal flaw, in my experience. The Sharpie Pen Retractable tip is not half as durable as the Sharpie Pen, and even if you bear down a little too hard, the tip may be damaged. After the tip gets "compressed" it does not write like it used to and turns into a unbearable pain. This could be a factory defect, but three of the four I have, have proven this dilemma. I was excited to try these out, but the steep price is not quite worth the week of use it contains. I hope I am the only one with this problem, and if you still buy the pen after reading this, make sure not to bear down hard.
