I bought this product for my HP 13in Pavilion dv3. The laptop fits perfectly in, with a little bit of excess space on the long edge along the zipper. Not enough to make it move around (about 3/4 in). Tight fitting on the sides. The case itself is like a thick padded wetsuit with a soft interior. The outside pocket comes in handy, since I'm always losing my thumb drive, the little pocket keeps it right in place.
