I feel that the negativity surrounding this printer is not entirely warranted. I can believe people that the printer is not up to the task of being an everyday office printer, especially if you're printing hundreds of sheets per day. However, as a couple-times-per-week home printer, this thing has a load of great features, is extremely easy to set up and keep tabs on ink levels, has great support for Macs, and has pretty nice print quality for the occasional photo printing. I was able to print out a photo my first try through Photoshop Elements without even consulting a manual. On top of it, as many of the negative reviews will attest to, Kodak is often willing to give free replacements when you call up and complain, if you do have a problem down the line. Also, have people completely missed out on the fact that this printer is also a scanner? Many features of the printer are basically being forgotten about by people who bought this to just spam out endless sheets of paper all day. As someone who's using it as an all-in-one in a home environment, it's definitely not deserving of only one star.
At the price point this thing is going for now, I would say that you're getting a really great printer. Only avoid this if you are going to rely on it for your business. For the average home user, I'd give it a green light.Get more detail about Kodak EasyShare ESP 7 All-in-One Printer (2252929).
