I bought this bag a few days ago. Yesterday was my first day out with it. My 15" MBP Uni-body fits in the laptop compartment with room to spare. Said compartment is soft and tucked away, so you don't have to worry about the laptop being scratched by the zippers on closure. I'm usually extra careful when it comes to cushioning my laptop, but even I left my giant sleeve at home, which is not to say that it wouldn't fit. I actually just put my 15.4" Compaq(think three MBP's put together) in the back along with my 4 section note book, an umbrella, my glasses case, and keys. Everything fits and the bag still looks seamless. Now I didn't throw the 1 pound charger in, but I could have put it in place of the umbrella, or even stuffed it in the compartment beneath. It would make for a tighter fit, but that's not a big deal.
I should mention that while I'm not partial to taking my big boy Compaq on my commute(hence the Mac), this bag makes the prospect seem bearable, as opposed to the huge looking Targus I've been schlepping around for years. The Targus, funny enough, makes my Mac feel heavy. I suppose that it doesn't align as well on the back. Whether this bag will be as durable as my Targus, however, only time will tell. Right now the bag looks good(black and grey + design = sleek/gender neutral), carries well(flat on the back), and does its job(holds the stuff I need). Here's hoping it lasts.Get more detail about Belkin Slim Back Pack (Black/Light Gray).
