Lowest Price Olympus WS-500 Digital Voice Recorder (Silver)

What a dud! Couldn't get it charged...after days of having it connected to my computer via the USB. Wrote tech support, who commented that I must use only the battery supplied and it must use a USB connection on the back of my desktop which is a big pain since the desktop nests into my home office desk. Had to wait 48 hours for a response from tech support. I've done what he suggested but I don't see anything on the unit that indicates its got any life in it and it's been connected now for 2 hours.
