It was worth giving this toner a try, given the huge price difference. The cartridge slides in with no problem, so it does appear to be compatible. However, the printing is so light that I had to select the highest printing density just to get easily readable output. It's too soon to tell whether printing at highest density will dramatically reduce the number of pages I can print from this cartridge. However, even at highest density printing, the pages are still not as crisp and readable as I'm used to. If you don't need your printing nice and dark, this cartridge may be fine, and the price is very reasonable for draft quality.
