Low Price IPEVO S0-20 Wi-Fi Phone for Skype

I was reluctant to buy any of the wifi phones for skype becuase of varying reviews. The Ipevo had the best reviews so I decided to try it. I let go of a land line over a year ago to save money and started using skype. It was impractical to have to have my comuter on whenever I needed to make a call, so here comes Ipevo so-20.

I have had it for over a week and it works great. I have not tried bringing it to a location outside of the house. At my house I have had no problems. Call quality is great. Clearer than my cell phone. I have never lost a call. Those with whom I speak report that the sound quality is excellent as well. Set up was quite simple, directions are clear as are the phone promps.

Someone reported the phone gets hot after ten minutes. I have spent over an hour on the phone at one time and never experienced any discomfort. No echo. I also use an ActionTec router, and have had no problem. I did call Ipevo prior to purchasing the phone to see if this glitch had been resolved, they assured me it had. Again no problems using my router.

I have had no battery issues, but I do put it in its charging cradle after each use, using it as I would a landline.

I would recommend this phone to anyone needing phone access without the hassle of being tied to a computer. It actually, so far, has even worked better than using a headset connected to my computer.
