I'll keep this brief. This is an excellent scanner regardless of cost. It gives excellent scans with true colors. I maintain a comics blog, and scans are obviously very important. I love this scanner. I scan everything at 800 dpi, and the colors are exactly true to original. Very, very good scanner.
