Product is necessary for my printer. Used original printer cartridge for 19 months. I was using cartridge for about three months after my Brother MFC-7420 told me toner was low. Copies printed were still readable and good quality. Even after, I received the message that toner was completely empty, I felt I could have still used the current toner cartridge.
